May I also ask, the part in the red where it says "these words or similar words." Would it not be better if the Roman Missal for the Ordinary Form were revised so that those parts simply said "these words" and omit the "in similar words" part? I fear this is one of the temptations where some priests can get creative. Perhaps this is one of those instances where the OF can learn from the EF's meticulous rubrics. Just a thought.
